About The Teacher
I have been teaching in the Camas School District since 2003. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Washington State University, and a Master's Degree in Technology in Education from City University. I am a Washougal resident with three daughters, two of which are Camas alumni. I also have three grandchildren. My wife and I just celebrated 32 years of marriage! I was born and raised in Chicago and am a huge fan of the Chicago Bears football team and the Cubs and White Sox baseball teams. In my spare time you will find me spending time with family or at car shows with my 1968 Buick GS convertible. It's a duplicate of the first car I ever owned.
Mission For The Class
My mission for the class is to create a comfortable, yet challenging learning environment for all students of various learning styles, which encourages them to accomplish things they once believed was beyond their grasp, by promoting life-long learning skills, curiosity, common sense, risk-taking, and pride of ownership. Knowledge will be constructed and used in ways that are meaningful to each individual student. Therefore students will be able to use this knowledge in real-life situations and become productive members of society.
